The attorney general of the government of Nicolás Maduro, Tarek William Saabreported on the progress to find the whereabouts of Professor Carlos Lanz.
He pointed out that among the actions, they set up a direct telephone line to answer information that allows finding the whereabouts of the professor who disappeared on August 8, 2020.
“Given the unfortunate disappearance of Professor Carlos Lanz, the Public Ministry reports that a direct telephone line was set up to attend to information that allows us to locate our compatriot: 0800CARLOSL (2275675),” he wrote on Twitter.
Likewise, it indicated that “to date, the Public Ministry has carried out more than 100 criminal proceedings in relation to the investigation and search for Carlos Lanz. This with the active participation of the auxiliary bodies Sebin, Dgcim, Cicpc and CPNB».

Also, he stressed that “Interpol maintains the Yellow Notice active for the location of Professor Carlos Lanz in any of the 194 member countries of the International Criminal Police Organization.”
Saab confirmed that the Public Ministry maintains the will and effort to find the whereabouts of Lanz.
