“This apprehension was made after being denounced by a victim whom said former official extorted in exchange for resolving a cause,” said the institution in a Instagram publication. It was indicated that López Arias committed crimes sanctioned in the law against corruption, so “after being charged with the MP will be deprived of liberty.”
