MP appoints prosecutor to investigate alleged poisoning of Gilberto Correa

Tania Gianmarco will be investigated for alleged mistreatment, illegitimate deprivation of liberty and increased medical dose

The prosecutor imposed by the extinct constituent assembly, Tarek William Saab appointed the 16th prosecutor’s office of the Public Ministry (MP) to investigate the alleged poisoning suffered by the well-known television host Gilberto Correa, who was transferred in recent days to the National Service of Forensic Sciences (Senamef), better known as the Morgue de Bello Monte, to perform several forensic exams.

As usual, via Twitter, Saab reported that Tania Gianmarco will be investigated for alleged mistreatment, unlawful deprivation of liberty and increased medical dose.

It all started with a complaint made at the end of 2021 by one of the entertainer’s trusted doctors, who detected a picture of progressive poisoning with the excessive application of medications.

The doctor who reported the situation to the authorities was called to testify. However, before this instance, she made it clear that she was not related to Correa’s treatment and medication application.

The authorities continued with the investigations and determined that Correa’s caregiver (Tania Gianmarco) was in charge of the medications. Consequently, they presume that she was the one who gave him the adulterated drugs, according to the inquiries.
