The attorney general, Tarek William Saab, confirmed this Friday, December 20, that former minister Fernando Martínez Mottola, who was one of the six opponents in the Argentine Embassy in Caracas, surrendered “voluntarily” at the main headquarters of the Public Ministry (MP) the night of Thursday the 19th.
Through Instagram, Saab indicated that Martínez Mottola “stood up and gave a statement” to the MP about “the serious violent, conspiratorial and destabilizing events organized” from said embassy in recent months; especially after the July 28 elections. The statement does not indicate whether or not he received precautionary measures.
However, it specifies that the person who served as an advisor to Vente Venezuela decided to collaborate “actively” with justice.
