The Public Ministry charged Eduardo José Suárez Bercaza (22) with recording himself naked in the common areas of the building in which he was residing.
The event occurred on October 28 in the El Sitio residential complex in the town of San Antonio de Los Altos, Los Salías municipality in the state of Miranda.
At night that day, municipal police officials were notified that a young man was wandering naked around the place, so a commission went to the place to verify the information.
Once the officers confirmed the irregularity, the man was immediately arrested and placed under the command of the Public Ministry.
When questioned by the commission, the individual introduced himself as a content creator and said he was preparing material to publish on his social networks. He pointed out that the owner of the property is a friend, who was recording it at the time of the neighbors’ complaint.
At the presentation hearing, the 3rd Prosecutor’s Office of that jurisdiction charged Suárez Bercaza with the crime of outrage to public modesty.
Once the elements of conviction presented by the prosecutors in the case had been evaluated, the 6th Municipal Court of Miranda agreed to a precautionary measure consisting of 120 hours of social work in their community.
