Moves in Perupetro: new president and resignation of a director

In the midst of the uncertainty that exists Petroperuchanges are made within the hydrocarbon sector. As published in the legal regulations, Perupetroin charge of promoting, negotiating, signing and supervising contracts for exploration and exploitation, has a new president.

In this way, the appointment of Carlos Bianchi to the position of president of the institution, a position he held since November 2025, is concluded.

Who is the new president of Perupetro?

In Bianchi’s place, Carlos Alfredo Virgilio Niño Neira Ramos was appointed to the position. The new official was director of Electrosur, is a certified public accountant from the San Martín de Porres University and has a master’s degree in Business from the San Ignacio de Loyola University.

He has more than 10 years of experience with the World Bank GROUP – Consultative Group International Agricultural Research – CGIAR for the International Potato Center as CFO, and the International Center for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas, Director of Finance and Administration.

OTHER CHANGES

On the other hand, the resignation of Carlos Casas as a member of the Perupetro board of directors was also accepted. He had entered on behalf of the Ministry of Economy and Finance. Richar Almerco Soto was appointed in his place.
