The weekend, Movement for Venezuela demanded that the National Electoral Council on the prohibition of the party to run candidates for the elections of May 25. In his opinion, this adds “more violations of constitutional, political and human rights”
The Movement for Venezuela (MPV) said Monday that its decision to participate in the May 25 elections showed that it is an “extremely vitiated” process that closes “even more” an exit to the current political crisis.
«The performance of the CNE and the National Government intends to close even more the possibility of finding an exit to the deep crisis that our country suffers. Today with their actions, their vain excuses are collapsed to unlikely to justify the excesses that are committed daily, ”MPV said in A statement.
In his opinion, this adds “more violations of constitutional, political and human rights. Increasing its immense list of excesses, including the concealment of electoral results of the 28J elections to ignore the true winner ».
The weekend, MPV demanded that the National Electoral Council on the Prohibition to the party to run candidates to the elections of governors, deputies to the National Assembly and representatives of legislative councils. The organization also denounced that its national secretary, José Simón Calzadilla, appears disabled.
The party pointed out that all these violations do not pave the way to «find solutions and recognize the seriousness of the situation, the government makes its current crisis of legitimacy more evident and the increasingly diminished popular support base. What could be an opportunity for everyone, make it another sad show, causing another political tragedy that will only increase its own precariousness.
