The president of the Chamber of Deputies, Hugo Motta (Republicanos-PB), notified deputy Eduardo Bolsonaro (PL-SP) about the administrative process against him that could lead to the loss of his mandate due to the number of absences.

According to the official document issued by Motta on Tuesday (9), the decree of loss of mandate could occur because he “failed to attend, in the current legislative session, the third part of the deliberative sessions of the Chamber of Deputies”. This rule is expressed in paragraph 3 of article 55 of the Constitution
The notification indicates that the parliamentarian can express his opinion, in writing, within five working days.

Eduardo said he’s just not in Brazil because he can’t return.
“That would be a total blockage of the remaining end of my parliamentary activities, which is legislative diplomacy,” he says.
