CDMX, Mexico-. The mother of Yerandy García Meizoso, one of the seven victims of the sinking of the boat in Honda Bay He has asked the Cuban government not to lie any more about the events.
In a posted video by journalist Mario Pentón, the victim’s mother responds to the special program broadcast three days ago on Cuban television. The lady asks them not to lie anymore, or take advantage of the death of her son to accuse him of acts that she did not commit. She also explains some of the contradictions of the official version.
In the televised space, hosted by Humberto López, the authorities gave a version not only improbable of the facts, but also that it disagrees with the first testimonies of the survivors. They had accused the border guards of purposely ram the boat and break it.
For their part, the propaganda organs maintained that the sinking of the boat, in which 26 Cuban citizens were trying to leave the country for the United States, was not the result of an aggressive action.
The hour-long material included testimonies from four shipwreck survivors, who supported the official version and the confession of the detained boatman. The latter even apologized to the Ministry of the Interior.

The Cuban regime accused Yerandi García Meizoso of being an “internal organizer and coast guide.”
