Dr. Olga Chávez affirmed that she will demand justice for the death of her son, the Orthopedic specialist JGeorge Ernesto Herrera Chavezwho died on Thursday, June 16, after the vehicle in which he was traveling was hit by a black Hilux truck, driven by the captain of the National Police Francisco Ramon Flores Donaire. According to witnesses, the officer was driving while intoxicated.
“This is a crime, this is a murder, because —a vehicle— is a weapon and whoever does not know how to use it and uses it commits a crime. An alcoholic who comes driving a car at excessive speed and kills another person, that is a crime, because he knows what he is doing; he knows that if he is drunk he should not drive », he expressed to Article 66 the doctor’s parent.

Chávez added indignantly that Flores Donaire, responsible for the crash, was unharmed, «but here he killed the life of a mother, a wife, some brothers. This is more than a crime.”
