A little girl two years old died yesterday, Monday, after drown in a washing machine in his residence, located in the municipality of Las Guaraná, Duarte province.
The minor, identified as Nayean Fergonziwas the daughter of Danilza Pie, a 23-year-old Haitian girl.
According to a source consulted by Diario Libre, the mother He explained that he went out briefly to bring food to a relative and, upon returning, found a cube of water that had spilled in front of the washing machine and little girl inside her, face down.
According to him, he immediately called the System of Emergencies 9-1-1 to request assistance. However, despite being taken to a hospital, the minor died.
The case is being investigated for the fiscal Maciel Sanchez.
The minor’s body remains in the morgue from the National Institute of Forensic Sciences (Inacif) to perform the autopsy.
