In a comment published on the website of the Russian Foreign Ministry, the spokeswoman pointed out that “obviously such a conflict with Russia poses the risk of a nuclear escalation.”
“However, the Japanese ruling party prefers not to notice such a destabilizing policy of its American sovereign,” added Zajárova, whose text is a response to the statements of Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, about the real danger that Russia uses weapons nuclear in Ukraine.
He described as “absolutely unacceptable attempts to misrepresent for propaganda purposes the logic of containment of official Russian comments on nuclear issues” and to present Russia “as a country that threatens with nuclear weapons.”
