The National Executive Committee (CEN) of Morena approved the call so that during the next three months all the internal organs of that party are renewed, including all the CEN portfolios, with the exception of the presidency and the general secretary, with the aim – to announced – to have a united, organized and strong party heading for the 2024 electoral process.
The convocation to the Morenista National Congress, to be held on September 17 and 18, contains the steps that must be followed to complete this objective. Between July 30 and 31, assemblies will be held in the country’s 300 federal electoral districts, with the purpose of electing state congressmen, including the 32 state committees.
Thus, on September 17 and 18, the third Ordinary National Congress will be held, where the National Council and its presidency will be renewed, as well as the National Executive Committee (CEN), with the exception of the presidency and the general secretary, since his period ends until August 2023.
In the National Congress, the basic documents of Morena will be updated to adapt them to the reality of transformation that the country is experiencing, reinforcing the values of: not lying, not stealing and not betraying the people.

The call establishes that the survey procedure will have to be endorsed to elect those who electorally represent the party, “because the survey is not only a selection method, it is the principle that in Morena the most important decisions are made by the people. In Morena the people rule.
All the protagonists of true change and supporters of the National Regeneration Movement will be able to participate in this process of internal organization, since Morena is an open and plural party that belongs to the people of Mexico. Therefore, it is reaffirmed that there can be no groups or sectarianism, because Morena only belongs to the people of Mexico.
It is also pondered that Morena, by standing out as the main political force in the country, intends a internal life that is democratic, plural and respectful, so that it becomes its main asset. Morena is plural, because plural is the people of Mexico. This renewal process will be democratic, transparent and inclusive. And it will leave an organized, united and strengthened party that, regardless of who the candidate is, guarantees the continuity of the Fourth Transformation in 2024
