From the “signal” of the president, Sheinbaum has modified its communication strategy and now has the same “coverage” of its press conferences by personalities, communicators and channels on social networks, it is a group of communicators-youtubers who are the same ones who attend or attended the morning press conferences of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador. This group stands out for asking about issues far removed from local problems and provoking a national response to Sheinbaum’s pronouncements.
Since then, Cludia Sheinbaum has traveled on weekends and, as she has stated, she has paid her own expenses and left the undersecretary of government, Martí Batres, in charge of the city.
His 2021 agenda included on August 31 attending the swearing in of Lorena Cuéllar, from Morena, as governor of Tlaxcala; and throughout September she was accompanied by López Obrador to 11 events in the city, including the inauguration of Babien branches, or acts such as the 174th Anniversary of the Heroic Deed of the Children Heroes of Chapultepec, the Balance of the “Young People Building the Future” program. or the start of the 2021 National Collection of the Mexican Red Cross.
On October 15, at the invitation of Evelyn Salgado, she attended her inauguration as governor of Guerrero and again, on the 29th of that month, on a presidential tour of Campeche. She even went there to report on the progress of vaccination in Mexico City.
The same official gave an account of her tour schedule on social networks: on the 30th of that month to Guanajuato, to the presentation of the 50th edition of the Cervantino International Festival (FIC), with the argument that in 2022 Mexico City would be invited. and the Republic of Korea and the next day he went to the inauguration of Marina del Pilar Ávila as governor of Baja California.
On November 1, he accompanied Indira Vizcaíno during her inauguration as president of Colima, and when asked expressly, he acknowledged that the country has been prepared “for a long time” to be governed by a female president.

On November 3, he reported that he went to Tlaxcala, so he was unable to attend the swearing-in of Layda Sansores in Campeche; On December 18, he went to the inauguration of Adolfo Cerqueda Rebollo as municipal president of Nezahualcóyotl and on February 2, he reported that he met in Oaxaca with Morena’s candidate for government, Salomón Jara.
Already by April, when the state campaigns began, he joined them to, in his messages, talk about the progress in the city or, with his mere presence, receive cheers or praise for his management in the capital.
On Sunday, April 3, the president went to support the campaign of the standard-bearer for the government of Aguascalientes, Nora Ruvalcaba, and that same day for that of Durango, Marina Vitela.
The campaigns coincided with the discussion of the electrical reform and with that argument he promoted the revocation of the mandate at the Monument to the Revolution, on April 6, -in which he requested a license to attend on a business day- and on April 24 he traveled to Quintana Roo, to support the morenista standard-bearer for the government, Mara Lezama.
In May, on the 8th, Sheinbaum went to support Julio Menchaca, Morena’s candidate for the Hidalgo government, and on the 14th she rested from the campaigns, but only to go as a guest to Dos Bocas, Tabasco, to visit the Refinery building, which is completed in July.
