Senators and deputies from Morera warned that it should be clarified where the resources to finance Patria Unida come from and warned that it is about
a small group and they will be alert, because,
As Vox has shown in Spain, the intention is to destabilize democratic governments and support the rise of dictatorships..
Deputy Leonel Godoy and senators Antares Vázquez and César Cravioto pointed out that behind this foundation are the National Action Party (PAN) and Vox in defense of the interests of the Spanish electricity companies, to which the government of Andrés Manuel López Obrador prevented the continuation of corrupt practices.
It seems to me that it is one more letterhead, that it is not going to have any weight in the Mexican electorate, but you always have to be careful, you always have to be vigilant, because normally these groups that have links with the extreme right-wing parties in Europe and America America seek to create confusion to try to stop progressive governmentscommented deputy Godoy.
For her part, Senator Antares Vázquez indicated that she has no doubt that Patria Unida is linked to the PAN, to extreme right-wing groups such as El Yunque and shares racist and classist attitudes with Vox, although
in a hypocritical way here the PAN members wield a different discourse.
At least, he added, Vox publicly accepts that it is against the rights of migrants and women.
He noted that the speech by Alice Galván, who was an adviser to the PAN member Alejandra Reynoso and who now chairs the Fundación Patria Unida –
which should be called Patria Vox–, is the same as that of the PAN, against the policies of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador regarding the rescue of oil and electricity.
Senator César Cravioto agreed that the PAN and Vox share the defense of Spanish companies, such as Iberdrola, to which the governments of Vicente Fox and Felipe Calderón granted undue privileges. One must also be aware, he added, of the origin of the resources to finance the new far-right foundation, which he predicted a future similar to that of the National Antiamlo Front (Frena).
