Morena began yesterday the informative assemblies on the constitutional reform initiative in electoral matters promoted by President Andrés Manuel López Obrador.
The initiative seeks a substantial change in the electoral sector and annual savings of 50 billion pesos, according to the amount disclosed this Saturday in one of the government party’s spots.
The proposal also includes a reduction in election officials; promote electronic voting, that the people choose the electoral authorities, instead of political parties, as well as a decrease in advertising on radio and television, among other points highlighted in Morena’s messages.
