More than half a million workers convert their Infonavit credits to pesos

Due to the demand of workers to convert their credit to pesos, Infonavit extended the term until January 10, 2023 so that they could carry out the process and avoid this year’s increase.

For this year, Infonavit informed that the credits in VSM will have a 5.2% increase percentage less than the salary increase and the UMA.

With this program to convert VSM credits to pesos, discounts of more than 74,600 million pesos have been represented, Infonavit reported in a statement.

As of last year, Shared Responsibility became a permanent and universal program at the institute, with which any worker who has a loan in VSM can convert it into pesos and have a balance and fixed monthly payments, know when they will finish paying, have an interest rate between 1.9% and 10.45%, depending on your income and not have annual increases.

Borrowers who have not been able to restructure their credit until January 10 of this year, will be able to enter My Infonavit Account starting next February 9 and carry out the process.
