More than 930 cases of Covid-19 have been reported in the last 24 hours

Despite not registering deaths in the last 24 hours, the Department of Epidemiology of the Ministry of Health announced 939 new cases, for a cumulative 775,488 confirmed cases of Covid-19.

They highlighted that 7,639 tests were applied, which yields a positivity of 12.3%, in addition to 8,184 accumulated deaths and a sustained lethality of 1.1%.

Those recovered amount to 761,669 with 546 new recoveries, while 5,635 are active cases throughout the country, of which 5,550 are in home isolation and 85 hospitalized. Those in isolation are divided into 5,533 at home and 17 in hotels. 75 are hospitalized in 75 in the ward and 10 in the ICU.

According to MINSA Epidemiology, the districts that continue to report the majority of new cases are: San Francisco, Rufina Alfaro, Juan Díaz, Santiago and Llano Grande in Coclé.

Updated vaccination report

Regarding the vaccination day, the Expanded Program on Immunization (PAI) reports that to date they have applied 8,057,882 doses of vaccines against Covid-19; of them 3,464,156 first dose; 3,074,199 in second dose, 11,018 third doses, 997 fourth to chronic patients and 1,507,081 booster doses 1 and 431 booster 2, while in the pediatric population (children between 5 and 11 years old) have been applied 400,876.

The vaccination day continues this weekend at the fixed posts in the shopping centers of Panama City, such as Los Andes Mall, Alta Plaza Mall and Metro Mall, among others.
