The Minister of Popular Power for Education, Yelitze Santaella, toured the UEN Maestra Judith Liendo (formerly Diego de Losada), located in the El Valle parish, in Caracas with the aim of verifying the return to classes of the second pedagogical moment 2022-2023.

Santaella highlighted that 907 students are active in this educational unit at different educational levels, who have the guidance and accompaniment of 63 educational workers from the country, who have joined their work to guarantee the right to decent education. and quality to the country’s children and youth.

“We have toured five schools in the parishes of Caracas, all of them 100% active, giving joy to the children and young people of the Homeland. I congratulate the parents and the young people, ”she stressed.

Likewise, he exalted the commitment of the teachers, teachers, and professors who decided to be present at the beginning of the second pedagogical moment 2022-2023.

“We congratulate the entire educational sector that today says it is present in each of the educational institutions. Long live the homeland and its girls… From today we start with the future of the Homeland, and applause for all the children who are trained in educational institutions, she said.

For her part, the director of the UEN Maestra Judith Liendo, Gloria Moreno, highlighted the contribution made since August by the national government, the Bolivarian Movement of Families, Military Community Brigades for Education and Health (Bricomiles), and the Educational Councils, which carried out the repair and rehabilitation of the infrastructure of this educational center.

Likewise, he stressed that together with the rehabilitation they received the endowment from the national government, led by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, of tables, chairs, acrylic whiteboards and other educational materials to provide quality education to all students. .

Similarly, the Maquiritare Special Education Educational Unit, located in San Bernardino, Caracas, began the second period of the school period, with the presence of 47 boys and girls with special conditions, highlighted the mayor of Caracas, A/J Carmen Meléndez .

“Thanks to our President Nicolás Maduro, who has given priority to education, in the schools of Caracas, we have worked jointly with the Ministry of Popular Power for Education and the Educational Bricomiles,” said Meléndez.

He indicated that in the city of Caracas the return to school is 100% open with its schools open and its educators and workers, “this center was very beautiful and that is how we began 2023. Girls and boys with big dreams, and we are happy to accompany them in their educational and formative process”.

He stressed that in this second pedagogical moment of return to school it was possible to verify, not only the recovery and rehabilitation of the infrastructure, but also the attendance of the children and young people of Caracas to the classrooms with total normality.

“We will continue to work 100% with the People’s Power and the Bricomiles to continue recovering educational and health institutions and many more works, leaving them functional for the benefit of the people,” he said.
