More than 90 children close "Escuela de Bomberito 2023" in Huancavelica

A total of 95 children participated in the “Escuela de Bomberitos 2023”, organized by the Fire Company, Huancavelica N° 56.

During four weekends, the troops shared knowledge of prevention and safety with the enthusiastic children, who learned the firefighter’s job, his doctrine, rescue maneuvers, first aid, among others.

They also learned maneuvers with ropes, prevention and response in domestic accidents, teamwork, handling fire jets, and evacuation in safe areas.

“It has been a very pleasant experience to share this basic knowledge with many children who have accompanied us since January 15, awareness has started from recognizing the importance of the 116 emergency line,” said CBP Lieutenant Jesús Acuña, coordinator of the School of Firefighters 2023.

He added: “Now these children, who we are sure, will be our future firefighters in Huancavelica; They will be the first alerters in each of their homes, facilitating our timely response”
