A total of 857 police officials were certified to carry out criminal investigation tasks for minor crimes, whose sentences do not exceed eight years, as part of the actions contemplated in the Great Quadrants of Peace Mission, reported the Vice Minister of the System. Integrated Criminal Investigation, C/G Humberto Ramírez.
During the activity, held in the Red Room of the Ministry of Popular Power for Interior Relations, Justice and Peace, Ramírez highlighted that, “for us this type of training is of vital importance for the comprehensive care of communities, when working on crimes that are closer to home. to the people, as our Sectoral Vice President of Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Captain Diosdado Cabello, has indicated to us.”
“We must advance every day in our professionalization. Adapting to new times, such as the investigation of computer crimes, new criminal phenomena that constitute a threat to the people,” said the vice minister.
In this space the certificates were delivered to the members of the aforementioned state police; to the municipal bodies of the Metropolitan Area of Caracas, Guarenas, Guatire, Higuerote, Charallave and La Guaira, as well as to the servants of the Bolivarian National Police Corps (CPNB), who from now on are empowered to exercise said tasks.
The aforementioned meeting was attended by the academic vice-rector of the National Experimental University of Security (UNES), C/G Evelyn Carrillo and authorities of the criminal investigation services of the police forces of the states of Miranda, La Guaira and the Capital District.
It is worth mentioning that this type of actions correspond to what is established in vertices three and six of the Great Mission Quadrants of Peace, which order the transformation of the justice system towards a territorialized vision and the strengthening of criminal investigation bodies. , respectively.
