More than 70 national brands will sell at least 15 clothing models with discounted prices within the framework of the “Fashion Action” program, an initiative in which the Secretariat of Industry, Knowledge Economy and External Commercial Management, the Argentine Industrial Chamber of Clothing (CIAI) and the Argentine Federation of the Clothing and Related Industry (FAIIA).
“Today is an important day in terms of industrial policy, with this initiative in a value chain that occupies a central role in the economic and social development strategy. We have a firm position from the strength of this chain”, said the Secretary of Industry, Knowledge Economy and External Commercial Management, Ariel Schale, when launching the initiative.
The action, which will have 2,000 points of sale throughout the country, will include leading brands in clothing for babies and children, adolescents, women and men. The selected articles will be identified with a distinctive label of the initiative and they will not exceed 30% of the current price in the 2021 winter season. Initially, it will be valid until the end of July 2022.

Among the brands that participate in this initiative are Pampero, 47 street, Ay not Dead, Ayrea, Azzaro, Baby Cottons, Bensimon, Billabong, Cardón, Carmela Achaval, Caro Cuore, Cheeky, Cibeles, Clara Ibarguren, As you want, Complot, Christopher Columbus, Cuesta Blanca, Desiderata, Etam, Black Label, Gepetto, Geneva, Gola, Grisino, Jazmin Chebar, Juanita Jo, Key Byscaine, Kimeika, Las Pepas, Mancini, Maria Cher, Markova, Midway, Mimo, Montagne, Naum, Old bridge, Paula Cahen D Anvers, Penguin, Sweet, Tannery, Taverniti, Ted Bodin, Tucci, UMA, Ver, Vitamina, Wanama, Yagmour, Mistral / Brooksfield, Magdalena Espósito, Levi’s and Rever Pass, among others.
This proposal seeks to provide consumers in the country with different options of garments with design and quality at an affordable price, as well as to promote the national fashion industry.
Schale stressed that “it is a very dynamic industry in its development in the last two years, with important investments that have entered the country in capital goods and that will be producing and further strengthening the clothing link.”
And he highlighted that “Fashion Action is born from a joint effort, with a manifest commitment of the clothing chambers that materializes in this specific action that allows offering accessible prices that stimulate internal consumption.”
