More than 600 species are exhibited at the Bolivia International Orchid Exhibition, this weekend

The Second International Exhibition of Orchids Bolivia takes place this Saturday, April 16 and Sunday, April 17 in Santa Cruz, in the Ivaga Guazú ecological park (Km 13 Doble Vía a La Guardia), with nearly 600 species on display.

According to the organizers, exhibitors are more than twenty, between Bolivians and foreignerssince nurseries from Argentina, Brazil and Peru participate.

The orchids on display are: native species, exotic species or importedhybrids, microorchids, bands and catasetineas, according to the call of the organizers.

For plant lovers, in this activity you will find that some of the orchids on display are for sale, from Bs 30, depending on the species; others can be found at Bs 250 or even Bs 700.

In addition to the exhibition a contest is held In which people like José Luis Panozo participate, who this year presents five species of orchids, between native and foreign, and who has been participating in events like this for 20 years.

This event, which has ambassador to the actress Carla Ortiz, has a cycle of conferences on orchids, ranging from basic care, through the arrangements that can be made with these flowers and the experience of growing these plants, to the characterization of native orchids from Argentina, Bolivia and Peru.
