The Ministry of Public Security (Minseg) announced this Saturday that more than 500 units from the different security forces are conducting searches in the prisons of Panama East.
This operation is carried out in the different pavilions of La Joya, La Joyita and Nueva Joya, after a shooting was registered yesterday where a police unit died.
In this case and as a result of the fierce operation carried out by the National Police, which ended late at night on Friday at the La Joya Penitentiary, the Public Ministry will take alias “Popotón” and alias “to a Judge of Guarantees” Joelito”, both deprived of liberty.
