The Simplified Closed Stock Company (SACS) constitutes an alternative for formalizing economic activities simple and fast, since it does not require a public deed and can be managed via Internetthrough the Digital Intermediation System (SID Sunarp), using the digital signature certificate, and at a relatively low cost.

Additionally, to simplify the process of setting up and registering a micro, small or medium-sized company, under the figure of a SACS, the free advice and support service called Emprende SACS was implemented.

Thus, during 2021, 430 Simplified Closed Stock Companies (SACS) were incorporated nationwide. Lima, with 251 registered SACS, was the most active region, followed by Cusco (54), Puno (41), Arequipa (20), Junín (12), Piura (9), La Libertad (5), Ica (5). , Lambayeque (4), Ancash (4), San Martin (4), Cajamarca (3), Loreto (3), Huancavelica (3), Apurímac (2), Ucayali (2), Huánuco (2), Ayacucho (2 ), Amazonas (1), Pasco (1), Tacna (1) and Tumbes (1).

So far this year, 121 SACS have been established, which represents an increase of 205.13% compared to the number of ventures registered between January and February 2021 (39). Lima, with 71 registered SACS, heads the list, followed by Puno (20), Arequipa (4), Lambayeque (4), Cusco (4), Huánuco (4), San Martín (4), Apurímac (2), Pasco (2), Cajamarca (1), Ica (19 Junín (1), La Libertad (1), Tacna (1) and Ucayali (1).

The advice provided by Emprende SACS is carried out through exclusive telephone lines, or in person, in the modules enabled for this purpose in the registry offices throughout the country. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, except on non-business days.

“Emprende SACS is an initiative that aims to support entrepreneurs in their formalization process. In this way, we contribute to the reactivation of our economy, hit by the effects of the pandemic”, explained the national superintendent of Sunarp, Harold M. Tirado Chapoñan.

Through any of these channels, Sunarp specialists support interested parties with information on the legal and technical requirements for the formation of the constitutive act; the form of payment of the registration fee using the electronic wallet; the use of the digital signature and how to correct any eventual observations that could fall on the subsequent application for registration, among others.
