Colombia continues to exceed the goal of 30% participationas most recently revealed report on the effective participation of women in decision-making positions in the Colombian State; The objective was established by Law 581 of 2000, better known as the Quota Law.
By the end of 2024 the percentage of women in management positions is 48.26%,figure that is the result of averaging the percentage of Maximum Decision-Making Level (MND) of 46.62% and the Other Decision-Making Level (OND) of 49.92%, figures that are close to the 50% that the Government proposed as a goal at the end of 2026explained the Administrative Department of Public Service.
To prepare the report, Public Function took as a basis 1,728 entities (164 national and 1,564 territorial) in which 3,825 women They hold MND positions and 3,782 OND positions.

By Branches of Public Power, in the Executive, the percentage of women in MND positions is 44.67% and in positions of OND 50.76%; in the Legislative 50% and 80% respectively, and in the Judicial 48.65% and 58.33%.

In the Electoral Organization the percentage is 29.85% in the highest level positions and 42.27% at other decision levels; in the same order, in the Control Bodies the figures are 45.35 and 42.79%, respectively, while in the Autonomous Bodies the numbers are 48.57% and 51.62%.
Finally, in the entities that make up the Comprehensive System of Truth, Justice, Reparation and Non-Repetition, the participation of women in positions of the highest decision-making level is 50% and in Other Decision-Making Positions it reaches 36.36%.
