More than 394 thousand citizens enabled will go to the polls in Tarija

In the department of Tarija They are enabled 394,539 citizens that will go this Sunday to 1,814 suffrage tables to decide the future of the country in the midst of an economic and institutional crisis.

That number of tables will be installed in 369 electoral enclosures, where 10,884 electoral jurors have the mission of guaranteeing the choice at each table. “It is mandatory that citizens cast their vote under the cause of economic sanction, in addition they will not be able to carry the suffrage certificate, which causes them to difficulties for 90 days in the financial system,” said the President of the Electoral Departmental Court (TDE) of Tarija, Óscar Gutiérrez.

According to Gutiérrez, the Bolivian state, Through the electoral body, it has made a great effort with the organization of the electoral process so that Bolivians and Bolivians exercise their right to suffrage.

The mayor of the city of Tarija, Johnny Torres, declared that a quiet and peaceful day is expected so that the population can cast their vote. “We want the people to win and democracy, that is the most important thing. For his part, the former president of the Departmental Federation of Neighborhood Boards (Fedjuve), Celestino Barro, said the General elections are a hope of the Bolivian people that with his suitability he can choose the president to lead the reins of the country.

One day from the elections, the Departmental Commander of the National Police, Freddy Pereira, He revealed that 35 people were arrested in the last hours for violating the car of good governance and mostly due to the consumption of alcoholic beverages.

The police chief urged the population to comply with the provisions that are included in this regulation to avoid sanctions.
