A total of 13,952 days of community social service have been carried out by the beneficiaries of the Vale Digital program, according to a report issued by the Vale Digital Solidario Office, attached to the Directorate of Inclusion and Social Development of the Ministry of Development. Social (MIDES).
This report reveals that the Community Boards with the most developed activities have been Arnulfo Arias, in the district of San Miguelito with 1,234 activities, followed by Santiago Cabecera with 901; Song of the Llano de Veraguas with 863; Edwin Fábrega de Veraguas with 523 and the Community Board of David Cabecera with 368 activities.
According to the report, the beneficiaries of Vale Digital have carried out, through their co-responsibilities, 111,616 hours of community work in 101 Community Boards and 20 State institutions.
It is also detailed that the jobs and tasks they have fulfilled are diverse and respond to segments such as the environment, health, construction, agriculture, livestock, forestry, fishing, culture, technology and information technology, sports and administrative jobs, among others.
These segments allowed the beneficiaries to carry out recycling work, planting trees, cleaning rivers, beaches, parks, schools and other places of public interest. Co-responsibility has also achieved gardening work in public spaces and improvements in Comprehensive Early Childhood Care Centers (CAIPI).
In addition, masonry works have been carried out in structures and public areas, street patching and other works in spaces that are at the service of the communities.
With the Digital Voucher, professionals such as plumbers, electricians, masons, cooks, welders, fishermen, painters, clerks, secretaries, mechanics, waiters, longshoremen and carpenters, among others, have contributed to the development of their communities with their work.
