This Friday, December 24, Colombia registered 3,060 new infections of covid-19, which resulted from analyzing 62,465 tests (29,782 of PCR and 32,683 of antigens).
With the new positives, the country reached the 5’118.254 infections in the last year and nine months, and reached a total of 29,228,550 processed samples.

As of this Friday, in addition, 4’955,539 infected have recovered and 14,666 continue with the active virus.
The areas of the country with the most historical cases are: Bogotá (1,472,243), Antioquia (781,677), Valle del Cauca (422,284), Atlántico (342,062) and Cundinamarca (267,226).
And worldwide, a total of 278,670,470 infections have been reported.

Regarding deaths, 46 new ones were reported, of which 44 occurred in days prior to this 24.
Total, the pandemic already leaves 129,686 deaths in the country and 5’390.568 in the world.

As of December 22, the country has distributed 67’668,582 doses of covid vaccines, of which 63’453,700 have been applied. What’s more, the number of people with a complete vaccination scheme is 27,724,189 and the reinforcements applied, 2’906.051.
