The National Institute of Standardization and Metrology Technology (INTN), through the National Organization for Standardization (ONN), officially launched the PNAIEC 60906 Standard for tokens and sockets.
The ING. Ricardo Ramírez, Director of Electrical Safety, He pointed out that the PNAIEC 60906 Standard for Chips and Sockets was launched, which implies 2 electrical connections and 1 connection with the ground cable.
The aforementioned technical document was prepared based on the requirements of the (IEC) International Organization for Standardization, worldwide pioneer in the preparation and publication of international standards in the field of electrical, electronic and related technologies. Technical Committee
A committee made up of industry leaders, such as manufacturers, importers, certification bodies and test laboratories, customs, MIC, SEDECO, universities, independent electricians and others, has been working on regulations that cover specific issues, such as test requirements , product certification schemes, control mechanisms, among other points, for its future implementation.
