More than 220,000 students return to classes tomorrow in Santiago

SANTIAGO.- More than 220,000 students return to classes tomorrow Tuesday in Santiago, after the Christmas and New Year holidays.

Of that amount, the public sector concentrates a total of 167,044 students, in the ten educational districts of Regional 08 of Education in the province.

Meanwhile, the private sector has 51,436 students and another 2,215 students belong to semi-official educational centers.

More than 220,000 students return to classes tomorrow in Santiago

A report from the authorities establishes that Regional Education 08 has registered 240 schools, 571 public educational centers and 14 semi-official centers.

When pondering the return to classes, the Regional Directorate 08 of Santiago, called on students and teachers to return to their respective educational centers starting this Tuesday.

Marieta Díaz, head of Education in Santiago, motivated teachers, directors and management committees of educational centers to follow the instructions of the Ministry of Education and meet the goals assigned to the 2022-2023 school period.
