More than 200 police officers are accredited in criminal investigation

The Ministry of the Interior, Justice and Peace reported that more than 200 police officials obtained their criminal investigation accreditation last Thursday.

Through the Telegram channel, the institution indicated that those accredited will be focused on the investigation of crimes whose sentences do not exceed eight years.

The vice minister of the Integrated Criminal Investigation System, M/G Danny Ferrer Sandrea, highlighted that these accredited officials are part of cohorts XII and XIII of the Criminal Investigation Course taught by the National Experimental University of Security (Unes) to the state and municipal bodies of Aragua, Carabobo, La Guaira, Miranda and the Capital District.

There are already 5,000

The vice minister explained that, with this new cohort, almost 5,000 officials accredited in criminal investigation in the national territory have been certified, while highlighting the evolution of the security forces, which went from archaic times to new technologies and with specialized studies in areas such as field criminology, forensic telephony, among others.

Finally, he highlighted the trust placed in new talents. “Let us continue working for the Homeland and justice, as our Sectoral Vice President of Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Captain Diosdado Cabello, has entrusted us with.”

New appointments in 23 criminal investigation services

During the day, the Heads of the Criminal Investigation Services in the states of Anzoátegui, Aragua, Bolívar, Carabobo, Miranda, La Guaira and Táchira were appointed; who were selected after rigorous interviews carried out in previous days.
