Decent homes and property titles were delivered to 216 families who previously resided in temporary shelters, as part of compliance with the Zero Shelter Plan directed by the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro.
The mayor of the city, Carmen Meléndez, shared the news through her social networks, in which she highlighted that this delivery represents a profound transformation in the lives of hundreds of Caracas residents. “It will be a different Christmas for these families, thanks to the acquisition methodology through the secondary market,” he said.
Likewise, he urged the blessing “of these new homes, and especially to the boys and girls, who will also now enjoy their new toys, with love and joy.”
This program prioritizes the dignity of the Venezuelan people and has allowed these families to go from the uncertainty of refuge to the stability of their own home, with legal security and adequate conditions for comprehensive development.
