More than 2 thousand communities are summoned to restructure the communal councils in Caracas

Más de 2 mil comunidades son convocadas a restructurar los Consejos Comunales en Caracas

The head of the Government of Caracas, Nahúm Fernández, reported that in the capital 2,630 organized communities have been summoned to the democratic electoral party for the restructuring and formation of communal councils.

In messages posted on his account on the social network Twitter, he stated that the community spokespersons are “honoring the legacy of Comandante Chávez, through the formation and restructuring of their community councils. We continue to strengthen the nation’s socialist project.”

He indicated that, as part of the celebration of the 10th anniversary of the Coup de Timón, the teams of the Caracas Government Headquarters, together with the Ministry of the Communes, have been deployed in the communities to accompany the People’s Power to promote these days.

From the San Andrés sector of the El Valle parish, he indicated that the new spokespersons for the Communal Councils, ‘Unidos por San Andrés’ and ‘Juan Manuel Cajigal’, were elected through the vote. “It has been a magnificent election day!”
