During a deployment of the “Love of Neighbor” operation in Plaza Venezuela, Caracas, the Administrative Service for Identification, Migration and Immigration (Saime) favored more than 190 people with security protocols and identity verification.
On the day, citizens in vulnerable situations were approached through the Identification, Verification and Registration Directorates, in addition to police officers from the Immigration Police Service, where four people without registration, one undocumented person and a foreign citizen were identified during routine verifications.
«The commitment to the well-being of the community goes hand in hand with the guarantee of security and order. Identity verifications are an integral part of these operations,” said some of the Saime officials.
The Love of Neighbor 2025 Plan involves various public institutions in the country, in order to provide comprehensive care that includes basic medical services, food, shelter, and emotional and social support to guarantee the well-being of the most vulnerable people.
