A total of 160 people were apprehended for various crimes through “Operation Genesis 2022”, by the national security forces, in the last 24 hours.
Of these arrests, 104 were by trade, 36 for administrative offenses, 12 for flagrante delicto and 8 for micro-trafficking.
The arrests occurred at different points throughout the country.
A total of 44 raids were carried out, resulting in the seizure of 2 firearms, 73 ammunition, 55 dollars in cash, a medical evacuation, and a recovered vehicle.
It also detects 16 foreigners who did not meet the immigration requirements, who were placed under the orders of the corresponding authorities.
Likewise, 1,805 tickets were placed for different violations of traffic regulations, of these 556 for speeding, 17 for proven drunkenness, 15 for talking on the cell phone, 9 for alcoholic breath, 189 inadequate lights and 22 for expired licenses.
With “Operation Genesis 2022”, security strategies in the country are strengthened.
