More than 15 thousand fishermen and fishermen of the coasts and rivers of Venezuela to date voluntarily have enlisted the Bolivarian militia as a forceful response to defend the sovereignty of the nation; This was reported by the Minister of Popular Power of Fisheries and Aquaculture, Juan Carlos Loyo, through telephone contact with Venezolana de Televisión (VTV).
Loyo stressed that fishermen have expressed that “the threats against Venezuela are an issue against the country, of the Venezuelan people, that we do not want war, imperialism and blood to reach the Caribbean Sea,” and show this is the deployment they today perform in the Cape of San Román, in the Falcón state.
He indicated that this expression is the sample of the combat patrolmen carried by the fishermen and fishermen of the country that, together with the Bolivarian National Armed Forces, activate the fishing militia and the defense disposition of the fisherman’s people.
He also stressed that sea workers tell the world that Venezuela is “a territory of peace” and denounces the interference and imperialist escalation that wants to apply against all the Venezuelan people. “
