More than 15 million cleaning and disinfection days carried out by the Venezuela Bella Mission

A total of 15 million 40 thousand 180 days of cleaning, disinfection and beautification have been carried out by the Venezuela Bella Mission (MVB) to eradicate COVID-19 in the country, as well as one million 801 thousand 243 spaces have been addressed in the 335 municipalities of the country.

During day 105, the director of the MVB, Doanny Hernandez, expanded that in Holy Week they supervise the operation in the Santa Teresa Basilica in Caracas, “one of the busiest churches on this Holy Wednesday for the devotion to the Nazarene of San Pablo and we are carrying out the disinfection.”

He called for the use of all biosecurity measures, the use of face masks, hand washing, physical distancing, in addition to disinfection in each of the daily spaces, such as the home: “it is important to maintain it because the pandemic is still with us ( …) Let’s make an awareness process and keep our spaces clean to be able to enjoy them all year round”, he said.

Meanwhile, in San Martín, in the capital city, the public servants of the MVB continued the day in the church of Our Lady of Lourdes, where the Minister of Popular Power for Tourism was present, Ali Padron, who stated that the control of the pandemic in the Bolivarian nation has given excellent results.

“We have the best numbers in Latin America in the control of COVID-19, thanks to the disinfection days and all the disinfection measures that have been implemented throughout Venezuela as part of the fight against the coronavirus,” Padrón said.

Likewise, the Minister thanked the participation of firefighters throughout the national territory, as well as the role of People’s Power.
