Some 14 thousand 608 cruise passengers arrived on the Dominican coast through the ports Taino Bay and Amber Cove in Puerto Plata, with which the province is expected to receive income of over one million dollars.

Through a report from the management of the tourist terminals, the Port Authority Dominican Republic (Apordom) reported this Wednesday that at the Taino Bay terminal in San Felipe de Puerto Platathe Divina cruise ship docked with 1,770 passengerswhile the Seashore brought 4,212 passengers, which amounts to a total of 5,982 cruise passengersbetween both vessels of the company MSC Crociere SA
According to the information, the Amber Cove cruise terminal, located in Maimón Puerto PlataHe received 5,647 cruise passengers on the Mardi Gras cruise, of the Carnival Cruise Lines company, as well as the ship called Freedom, of the same cruise line, with 2,979 passengersfor a cumulative figure of 8,626 visitors.
Apordom said that the visit of these four ships after the passage of Hurricane Fiona, strengthen the growth and promotion of this destination baptized as the Amber Coast and Bride of the Atlantic.
