More than 10,000 people participate in public consultation on the Law against Fascism

Deputy María Alejandra Vega, second vice president of the Permanent Commission on Internal Policy of the National Assembly (AN), reported that more than 10 thousand people have participated in the public consultation of the Bill against Fascism, Neofascism and Similar Expressions, which is being advanced by parliament.

The legislator presented a point of information on Thursday at the extraordinary session of the National Assembly, where she highlighted popular participation in the debates held throughout the country.

“More than 10,153 people and institutions participated in the public consultation carried out in the 23 states of the country and the Capital District. We have more than 793 systematized proposals. It has been carried out in more than 150 municipalities, with 142 activities and 81 participations of deputies in radio programs. The people have taken ownership of the law,” Vega emphasized, quoted by a press release from AVN.

He also pointed out that among the proposals received during the consultation were the inclusion of fascism and neo-fascism in the educational field and prevention; the inclusion of the rights of victims of violence; and the inclusion of the terms: techno-feudalism, techno-fascism, cyber-fascism and digital fascism, among others.
