More than 1,000 summonses have been imposed by the Mobility Secretariat during the Cali Fair

During the weekend of December 28 and 29, traffic officers were attacked by two violators.

This factor has meant that, in recent operations, incidents of aggression against traffic officers have increased.since in several cases drivers who evade mobility controls have attacked the authorities.

Among the most notable cases, a man was reported to have managed to evade a checkpoint and later returned to claim his cell phone, without carrying any documents or license. The Ditra of the Police captured him after this attempt.

The authority has emphasized the need to respect traffic signs and police orders to ensure road safety. Sanctions may include significant financial fines, license suspension and vehicle immobilization.“added the official.

According to the Ministry of Mobility, in recent days 1,406 summonses have been imposed, 204 vehicles have been immobilized, and 87 alcohol tests have returned positive.
