In the last 24 hours of Operation Isthmus, the Security forces together with the Public Ministry seized 11 firearms of different calibers and apprehended 137 people for various crimes.
In detail of the apprehensions, 57 by trades, 20 flagrante delicto, 55 administrative offenses and 5 micro-trafficking.
9 raids were carried out, B/. 1,093.00, 28 ammunition and 1 vehicle was recovered. In addition, 12 foreigners were detected due to expired stay, alert impediment and immigration controls.
The units of the National Directorate of Transit Operations placed 1,652 infractions, 61 for proven drunkenness, 458 speeding, 11 talking on a cell phone, 26 alcoholic breath, 93 inappropriate lights and 51 expired licenses.
