Firefighters, police officers and officials from the San José Municipality collaborated to put out the fire

In the afternoon a fire broke out in an area near the Occupational and Psychosocial Medical Rehabilitation Center (former Colonia Etchepare). The fire started after 2:30 p.m. and the evacuation protocol was immediately put into practice by the officials.
Was more than 100 patients mainly from pavilion 11 who were transferred and reconditioned in another area of the former Colonia Etchepare.
From ASSE They reported that there were no injuries as a result of the fire. Nor was any affectation of the building structure of the pavilions verified, with the exception of some disused sheds and vehicles.
A fire crew worked at the scene and managed to control the fire. Police officers, officials from the San José Municipality, officials from the center and residents of the area also collaborated.
For ASSE, the president Leonardo Cipriani; the director of Mental Health, Eduardo Katz and the deputy director Jimena Píriz.
