More firefighters join the efforts to contain the fires in the Paraná Delta

New fire brigades have joined the efforts to contain the forest fires in the Paraná River Deltain the Buenos Aires district of San Pedro, which has already been burning for several days.

On its website, the National Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development reported that more than a hundred brigade members and two hydrant helicopters arrived on Saturday at the Parana Delta to join the combat of the igneous foci that extend through a good part of the region.

Firefighters from the National Parks Administration also work in the Paraná Delta.

Around 11 emergency brigades of the Federal Police are working at the scene of the incident.as well as twenty firefighters and volunteer units from different government agencies in the province of Entre Ríos.
