This week they burned alive and murdered Luz Raquel Padilla in Guadalajara.
They threatened her two months before with a clarity of fright.
Two months in which no authority did anything. And they burned her alive. They killed her. The reason: a neighbor angry at the terrible noise his son made, when he had episodes of autism. Meanwhile, the state governor… is on other business…
But the rulers give us other data. They paint another country for us. They say mass to us. Let’s go requetebien. That the violence is contained. They tell us, they tell us, they tell us…
While officials don’t even know where the tremor caught him… In Mexico they continue to kill women. They keep killing.
Why?
Because it can.
Because nothing happens.
Because it is not investigated.
And much less, is punished.
