The Minister of the Federal Supreme Court (STF), Alexandre de Moraes, determined, today (14), that the Federal Police (PF) mark the testimony of former president Jair Bolsonaro in the investigation that investigates the coup acts of January 8 of this year .
In the decision, Moraes wrote that the hearing [audição] of Bolsonaro, requested by the Public Prosecutor’s Office, is “an indispensable measure for the complete clarification of the investigated facts”.
“In view of all the above, I grant the request made by the Attorney General of the Republic and order the Federal Police to proceed with the hearing of Jair Messias Bolsonaro, within a maximum period of ten days, and the PGR must be previously notified of the scheduled day to understand necessary to accompany the hearing”, he decided.
The statement was requested in the inquiry to clarify a post made on Bolsonaro’s social networks on January 10. Posted two days after the attacks, the video questioned the legitimacy of the 2022 election result.
