Minister Alexandre de Moraes of the Federal Supreme Court (STF) authorized eight relatives of former President Jair Bolsonaro to visit him on Sunday (10), when his Father’s Day will be celebrated.
On Monday (4), Moraes decreed the former president’s house arrest and restricted visits to the house where Bolsonaro lives in Brasilia.
The minister answered the request made by the defense of the former president to include new relatives on the list of visitors. Moraes had already decided that children and grandchildren do not need prior authorization for visits.
Bolsonaro’s father -in -law Vicente de Paulo Reinaldo were allowed to visit Bolsonaro; the mother -in -law Maisa Torres Antunes; Nora Fernanda Antunes; A granddaughter of the former president, as well as two nephews and a creative brother of former first lady Michele Bolsonaro.
As determined by Moraes, people who are allowed to visit the former president will not be able to use cell phone to take pictures or record images.
The measures were decreed after the minister understood that Bolsonaro used his children’s social networks to circumvent the ban, including through third parties.
On Sunday (3), Carlos, Flávio and Eduardo, children of the former president, published on their social networks Bolsonaro’s thanksgiving posts to supporters who attended the acts performed in various cities of the country.
