Before Hurricane Fiona passed through the country, the Ministry of Public Works and Communications reported tonight the closure of the floating bridge.
“Vehicle traffic on the floating bridge will be suspended from today, Sunday, September 18, from 10 p.m. until Tuesday 20 at 6 a.m.,” the entity said on its official Instagram account.
The government institution urged citizens to be alert and follow the instructions of the Emergency Operations Center (COE).
The COE placed 13 provinces on red alert this Sunday, maintaining 9 on yellow and 9 on green.
