Moody's withdraws its credit risk ratings from Nacional Financiera

At the time of his withdrawal, Nafin’s long-term global scale ratings had a negative outlook, Moody’s added in a statement.

The following ratings assigned to Nacional Financiera (525100) were withdrawn:

  • Long-Term Mexican National Scale Issuer Rating of Aaa.mx
  • Short-Term Mexican National Scale Issuer Rating of MX-1
  • Baa1 Local Currency Global Scale Senior Unsecured Debt Ratings (NAFF 260925, NAFF 16V, NAFR 17S), Outlook Negative
  • Long-term Mexican national scale senior unsecured debt ratings of Aaa.mx (NAFF 260925, NAFF 16V, NAFR 17S)

The following ratings and assessments of Nacional Financiera were not affected by this action: the base credit assessment (BCA) of ba1; BCA adjusted from ba1; Baa1/P-2 foreign and local currency long and short term issuer ratings; long-term and short-term counterparty risk assessments of Baa1(cr)/P-2(cr); and long- and short-term local and foreign currency counterparty risk ratings of Baa1/P-2.
