Single candidate of the Colorados to the Intendencia
On Saturday, February 1, the Departmental Convention of the Colorado Party met to define which way to start traveling from Sunday, May 11.
It was defined that the historic political community will appear with a unique candidate for the Intendencia de Cerro Largo.
“We do not conceive political life is not enthusiasticly. Political life claims that: passion. A lot of reason and heart, but you also have to put a lot of passion. You have to encourage teams. That was one of the things I noticed on February 1 when the candidacy was proclaimed is that no discouraged team wins a championship, much less a battle ” expressed the Dr. Rodrigo Rivero Ávila.
“We have to encourage the teams, we come to give an injection of mood. I think we are achieving a large extent and that generates a virtuous circle of which we enrich ourselves. We wear, on the one hand, but we enrich ourselves ” He added.
“The passion is, the heart is, and now we are putting the feed. Since December 29 with Professor Azucena Macedo, a great Colorada Referent de Río Branco, we have been working on our government program ” commented to THE PROFESSIONAL RADIO. “A government program that is promising” assured.
“While many were marinating the piglet and thinking about the holidays, we were convinced that in May the Colorado party had to have their own candidacy” said. “This is not novelty. We said that this ended after May. ”
Later Rivero argued that his candidacy for the departmental intention of Cerro Largo is a serious construction that carries a lot of work. “There is a lot of dialogue, many comings and goings. We are doing politics with capital letters and that makes us proud ” said.
“Today we are in this new role that is to somehow represent all the Colorados in this candidacy that the party will present in the May elections” He pointed out.
“I was very surprised at the call of many excited reds telling us that we had not had this for a long time. A Colorado, of those who likes to bring note of everything, told me that 16 years and three months ago the convention was not met. It is an issue that we looked at and we see that the game was really bad ” Rodrigo Rivero pointed out.
“We already did the convention, the Colorado party has a candidacy. The game voted very well in October. The national elections gave us a brutal support ” He stressed.
He said that since 1999, after the intern that Dr. Jorge Batlle won, the Colorado Party did not vote so well in Cerro Largo. “We revert an electoral situation, we are far from being satisfied, but it is a good sign.
